A Real Kids’ Machine, Not a Scaled-Down Adult Quad

A lot of operators in Dubai just hand a smaller rider the same quad an adult would use and call it a kids’ ride. Ours isn’t that. The junior quad we run at Al Badayer is genuinely built low-power and low-speed for younger riders, so parents aren’t standing there nervous the whole time watching a machine that’s really meant for a teenager. Our guide walks alongside or rides close behind for the full session — this isn’t a hand-the-keys-over-and-hope situation.

It works well as a first taste of the desert for families staying anywhere from Downtown to JBR or the Marina — you book your own ride (Yamaha, Kymco, or a buggy) and your kids get their own supervised machine right alongside you, so nobody’s stuck watching from the sidelines. Cooler months (October through April) are the easiest on younger riders; if you’re visiting in the summer heat, a morning or sunset slot is worth asking for.
