The Can-Am Maverick X3 handles a family group properly — our guide keeps the convoy at a pace that works for whoever’s newest to off-roading in the group, not the fastest rider. Kids old enough to sit steady and hold on are welcome; we brief everyone on the vehicle before a single wheel touches sand.

We run this out of our Dubai Silicon Oasis base to the red dunes near Al Badayer, about 45 minutes from Downtown. If you’re coming from Marina or JBR add a bit more to that — message us your hotel and we’ll give you an honest pickup time, not a rounded-down one.

When to Bring the Family Out

October through April is genuinely the better window for a family ride — cooler air means kids aren’t overheating in riding gear before you’ve even reached the dunes. If you’re visiting in June, July, August, take the early morning slot; midday desert heat with a helmet on is rough on younger riders especially. During Ramadan we shift timings slightly, so message us on WhatsApp with your travel dates and we’ll confirm what’s actually available.
